Granátová lávka is located on the ridge of Bradavica in the Velické Granáty massif above Velická dolina. It is a scree-grass ramp, path, or ledge that clearly separates the Granátové veže massif from the Granátové steny. During the hike, we will also ascend the summit of Dvojitá veža. From the ledge, there are stunning views of the entire Gerlachovský štít massif and Velická dolina; from Dvojitá veža, you get additional views toward Slavkovská dolinka and the Slavkovský štít massif.

The hike starts and ends in Tatranská Polianka. We follow the green-marked trail leading to Sliezsky dom and further to Poľský hrebeň, which we leave at a place called Kvetnica. From there, we continue along an unmarked trail beneath Bradavica to Opálové sedlo, where Granátová lávka officially begins. It ends at the Tatranská magistrála (red-marked trail), which leads us back to Sliezsky dom.

This is a moderately difficult hike, intended for fit hikers in good physical condition and with mountain experience, as a large part of the route is off marked trails.
