My name is Norbert Danko, and ever since childhood, I've been drawn to nature, especially the mountains. Gradually, I progressed from smaller hikes in the Slovak Karst, Slovak Paradise, and Low Tatras to larger ones in the High Tatras, and even, one might say, extreme expeditions in the Alps, Caucasus, and Himalayas. After successful expeditions to these mountain ranges, which I organized, I decided to obtain the UIMLA International Mountain Leader qualification, which I successfully achieved.
I worked as a firefighter-rescuer, where, in addition to regular firefighting and rescue work, I also specialized in rope techniques, movement, and rescue from heights and depths. I was also an instructor for these activities. After 23 years of service, I decided to retire, and in my free time, I would like to dedicate myself to mountain guiding. My priority has always been safety, and it will continue to be so.
Your safety in the mountains is always our top priority!
